Cannabis farms are in full bloom in Bolton

HUNDREDS of cannabis farms like the ones set up in a quiet Bolton street are being discovered across England, a study has found.

Police discovered about 400 mature and young plants in two homes in Queens Avenue, Bromley Cross, last week.

But the charity DrugScope said three similar factories were being raided every day by police in Britain as the amount of cannabis grown in the country continues to soar.

The district attorney says a Sheboygan teen is learning the hard way that posting pictures of your potted marijuana plants on MySpace.com is a bad idea.

That picture, labeled, My Mary Jane thats growin in my closet right now, also gave police a road map to the alleged stash.

According to Sheboygan County District Attorney Joe DeCecco, thats why Moua Yang, 18, was charged Wednesday with two felonies and two misdemeanors following a police raid of his south-side apartment.

Dutch Health Minister Ab Klinks plan to ban smoking in coffee shops across the country from next year faced fierce opposition on Wednesday from legislators and the hospitality industry.

A majority in the Dutch parliament thinks that smoking ban for the hospitality industry should not apply to coffee shops, where cannabis is sold, Radio Netherlands reported.
